The Bergenwater Caravan Park newsletter highlights a lively weekend of quizzes, games, and sports. From Friday night laughter-filled trivia to Saturday's energetic Seniors' Sports Day, campers of all ages enjoyed the team spirit, challenges, and unforgettable memories.

Senior members aged 75 and over will be exempt from trailer and fire master duties, allowing them to continue enjoying outings while sharing their knowledge and camaraderie. The duty list will be adjusted, and this decision will be reviewed at the 2026 AGM.

From beach walks to fireside chats, Laager 15 enjoyed a memorable weekend at Palmiet in Kleinmond, celebrating friendship, good food, and a special induction ceremony.

What an unforgettable weekend at Green Fountain! Laager 9 & Laager 18 came together for a jam-packed camping experience filled with laughter, great food, and even better company. Friday night kicked off with fires blazing, burgers on the braai, and plenty of fun despite a sudden thunderstorm. Saturday brought fresh excitement with the Mansfield Game Walk, spotting wildlife and enjoying breathtaking views. The day was topped off with ice-cold beers and pizza in Port Alfred — the perfect ending to an active day! Not forgetting the brave souls who took the Chilly Dip, proving once again that adventure is best shared together.

A hidden gem is all we can describe it as, well it doesn’t help when you arrive at night and can’t see a thing.
